Getting a good mentor is the next significant aspect of this journey. Find a mentor. How you learn to play and where you are from, matter a lot. All of us have had at least one math chapter that we were so good at, maybe the teacher made sense for the first time? Learning must be guided so well that you are not just acquiring but in fact, you are getting engaged with the information correctly. It saves both time and money! So, thorough your research on where to learn from.
Another good thing to do is to self-teach, things like teaching your fingers to move on the fretboard or training your eyes, ears, and fingers to coordinate.
Everything that’s been taught or is out there in writing cannot be learned by rote but a good guitarist knows better than cramming. Practice with not just your fingers, coach your mind to coordinate with it correctly.
